Jillian Irvine

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Jillian has been with the Spinback crew since May 2016.
After 5 years as a varsity volleyball athlete, Jillian switched gears to cardio and lead a run club with Lululemon before heading out on an open ended back packing trip which lead her to China. She has been enjoying the Shanghai lifestyle since 2015. Jillian discovered Spinback through a referral and was captivated by the positive vibe and atmosphere. Whether you’re an elite athlete or trying spin for the first time, there is something for everyone. In Jillian’s class you can expect lots of sweat, speed, and even more fun! She likes to incorporate some upper body movements so be ready to get your whole body working.

Jillian’s most recent goal smashed was reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro over CNY. She is hoping to run a half marathon abroad in 2017.

Eleanor Prescott

Meet Eleanor, who discovered the holy grail of spinning after one too many long distance runs which led to creaky joints. Now a certified addict, Eleanor enjoys the whole range of spinning classes; from max power interval sessions to dance party sweat sessions. She is serious about fitness and health, though equally dedicated to enjoying all of life's guilty pleasures including an annual Ibiza pilgrimage.

Eleanor’s sessions at Spinback are built around the playlist - classic house and dance mixed with current tunes brought together in a varied workout that will include hills, flats, jumps, and high intensity sprints. But most importantly, when you workout on the bikes with her, it’ll be fun. And challenging, ensuring you keep coming back for more!

Join one of Eleanor’s classes which cater to new or seasoned spinners, and you’ll be guaranteed to get a great workout matched to the perfect playlist!

Lisa Bean

"Never bored!" is our motto when you book Lisa's spin on Wednesday nights. Join us for a 55 minute journey accompanied with a playlist synched up perfectly to your moves. And by moves we mean the whole gamut. You'll rip through a special section completely devoted to sculpting your triceps using elastic bands and a weighted bicep workout. You'll have a quick run with a variety of seated and standing
positions, hip isolations, and chest pumps. And the best part? The focused stretch section when you get off the bike and let out a sigh of "ahhhhh.'" So clip in and get ready to hit all the right parts.
As a certified barre and pilates instructor and a Spinback certified instructor, she brings fun choreography and innovative safe movements to the bike. When she's not teaching a class, she's taking a yoga class. She also holds a diploma from the International Culinary Center in New York.
Do some good for yourself and for the local strays. Every time your clip in on Wednesday nights, 15% of the fees will go the the SOS Animal Volunteer organizations. Who says you don't have time to volunteer for charity?
LET THE RHYTHM TAKE CONTROL! Roger likes to switch between different music styles and different workouts but most important is “the beat”, the beat is your friend. Especially when we are going fast, but also in that crazy climb that make your wheel glow in the dark.
